When your will to write dwindles.

Not because of the block or achy arms

I’m back! Did you even notice I was gone?

Probably not, after all we do consume a lot of amazing writing these days!

Well I was gone, I fell into the abyss, but for a good reason.

It’s been nearly 7 weeks since I last posted anything here, which, chances are, means that it’s been 9 weeks since I have written anything.

I’m actually quite organised with my writing you see, I have a range of topics that are in my drafts waiting to be written up for a Sunday post, and a travel poem not far away for my Wednesday post. The routine is good for me, and I hope it’s good for anyone reading this stuff too.

But that all stopped at the beginning of February because of work.

The mistress

Writing is a long term commitment, which I see as a great medium to share thoughts, unwind, rant and settle old scores. It’s been something I’ve been doing regularly for at least 9 years when I started writing a novel.

A lot of it is planned out, I’m that kind of guy, in a way that I make time to write or write when I feel inspired. But it’s a constant, and there are no distractions generally.
