In the end, none of those interesting facts were actually used during that conference. Alas, at least anyone who read that blog now knows them and can use them as a conversation starter.

Whilst putting together the first list, it then extended into this list. Perhaps not the kind of things that I was broadcast at a conference necessarily, unless it was to celebrate the weird and wonderful.

So here they are, three more interesting facts about me.

I used to sell cigarettes and CDs to schoolchildren

Let’s start off by saying I was also a child. A bit click baity you might say, but you already clicked into this, so no.

My entrepreneurial exploits were apparent from a young age as it seems, and actually quite illegal although I think I was under the age of prosecution at that time.

It started with pogs a.k.a. milk caps. I got this nifty little pog maker one Christmas and started making my own. Mum’s face pog, Arsenal pog, random clip of Radio Times pog, unknown pog pog. The list could go on because I think I made hundreds.

Then I saw I could sell them for 20p a pop because it was a game back then. My marketing was not so sharp then so I didn’t make…
