Himalayan Bridge
Nepal — Silly poems for your backpack
Bouncy, bouncy,
The suspension bridge
Holds hikers, mules and yaks.
Bouncy, bouncy,
Don’t look down,
You can see between the cracks.
Don’t hold on,
The metal will pierce you.
Don’t slip over,
Cos you might just fall through.
The sides are coming apart,
A sight to stop your heart.
But it does save you some time,
And it is actually a secure line.
So if you’re braver than me,
Stop and take a photo or three.
While I travel I enjoy writing a bit of poetry, mostly silly stuff, but all to remember the fun I had.
I recently completed the three peaks, three passes, Everest base camp trek — read more about that here and look out for my other poems!
