Nepal — Silly poems for your backpack

On the glacier on the way to Cho La Pass

Bright and sparkling,
you greet your guest,
you provide some danger,
to ensure a test.

You wither with seasons,
get stronger in one,
under your biggest foe,
the ever-warming sun.

So white and clean,
unlike your cousin,
perhaps soon you’ll dirty,
and be one of a dozen.

While I travel I enjoy writing a bit of poetry, mostly silly stuff, but all to remember the fun I had.

I recently completed the three peaks, three passes, Everest base camp trek — read more about that here and look out for my other poems!
