Deserted beaches

New Zealand — Silly poems for your backpack

This one had people, so I kept my clothes on.

When you know there’s a place,
Called the 100 mile beach,
You know there’s a chance,
That you won’t see another face.

But the delight is greater than that,
As you hike along the coast,
You’ll have your own private beach,
Blue seas and beaches sandy and flat.

So strip off your clothes each day,
And kick off your hiking boots,
Relieve those tired feet,
And enjoy a touch of FKK.

While I travel, I enjoy writing a bit of poetry, mostly silly stuff, but all to remember the fun I had.

I publish them all on Medium, so check out my other poems here.
